1. Introduction
Avilink is a New Zealand-based job listing platform connecting aviation employers with pilots in New Zealand and Australia. We provide a space for aviation job listings but do not participate in the recruitment or hiring process. Our mission is to create an aviation community for pilots and employers to more easily connect.
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our platform, including our website, services, and any associated features (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using Avilink, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. Definitions
"Pilots" refers to individuals creating profiles to view and apply for job listings.
"Employers" refers to companies or individuals posting job listings.
"Users" refers to both Pilots and Employers.
Avilink means Avilink Limited (NZBN 942905257853, as incorporated under the Companies Act 1993). References to "we" and "us" (and related terms) mean Avilink Limited, unless otherwise stated.
3. Platform Facilitator Only
Avilink is a facilitator connecting Pilots and Employers. We do not:
- Verify the accuracy of job listings or pilot profiles.
- Guarantee employment outcomes.
- Verify licenses, endorsements, or qualifications. This is the Employer's responsibility.
4. Pilot Accounts
You may create an account and provide information including flight hours, license types, and contact details.
You will not upload CVs or documents, but will select/enter qualifications
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information
5. Employer Listings & Payment Terms
Job listings are created in Avilink, and payments made by means of invoice
Upon posting the listing, you agree to pay the agreed and shown price through invoice format, 10 business days after the date of publishing. The price will be clearly shown, and is based on your desired listing type (basic, featured, enhanced).
You are obliged to pay for the products and services agreed to, regardless of whether or not those products or services result in the application of a successful candidate.
Your are charged per job listing, in either NZD or AUD, based on company location.
Failure to pay the agreed amount on time may result in interest being added to the original payment amount.
You agree that (in compliance with any applicable Privacy Laws, Credit Laws and other Applicable Laws) we may obtain from either a credit reporting agency / bureau or other credit providers credit information about you (including personal credit information) and/or your directors or a consumer credit report about you for the purpose of collecting overdue payments relating to commercial credit owed by you.
If you do not pay on time, we have the right to disable your account, and we are not obliged to supply any further products or services.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your job listings.
6. Responsibilities of Employers
By posting a job on Avilink, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information in your job listing
- Have the authority to post the job on behalf of your organization
- Remove or notify us at the earliest convenience if the job has been filled
- Not breaching the intellectual property rights of any third party, when posting a listing
- Not perform any action that introduces any virus, worm, defect, malware or any other item of destructive nature into our systems
- Maintain your own security controls to reasonable secure your systems, including any personal information of candidates, from any misuse, interference, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure
- Use our products and services in accordance with all Applicable Laws
- Not use our products or services to upload, download, transact, store or make available content or data that is unlawful, harassing threatening, harmful, tortious, defamatory, libellous, illegally discriminatory, abusive, violent, obscene, invasive of another's privacy, racially or ethnically offensive or otherwise, in our reasonable opinion, objectionable or damaging to us, the users of our products or services or persons generally, and you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute in any way any material from our products and services including code and software (unless we expressly authorise such action)
You indemnify, and will keep indemnified, us against all claims, actions, suits, liabilities, actual or contingent costs, damages and expenses incurred by us or them in connection with:
- any breach of these Terms by you;
- any negligent act or omission by you; or
- any breach of any Applicable Laws by you.
We reserve the right to remove or modify postings that violate our policies
7. Listing Fees
Avilink has designed a listing fee structure specific to aviation. Each employer is categorised after sign-up, based on operation size, movements, and staff numbers. This category determines the applicable listing fee.
General category guidelines are as follows:
- Category 1 – Small operators with 1–2 aircraft, small and medium aero clubs, helicopter agricultural, aerial, and mustering operations.
- Category 2 – Scenic operators, aviation adventure, small charter operators, medium helicopter operations, flight schools, and large aero clubs. Typically cover one area, with 4–10 pilots.
- Category 3 – Medium/large operators, small regional carriers, medium charter/IFR operators, and large helicopter IFR operations (approx. 8–15 pilots).
- Category 4 – Airlines, large cargo, large regional carriers, jet and large charter operators (scheduled transport, IFR, jet charter).
These categories are general guidelines only. Avilink will assign an organisation to a category as part of the employer verification process, acting reasonably and in good faith. Before confirming or purchasing any listings, employers will clearly see the corresponding fees, based on the category they have been placed in.

8. Termination
Termination by User: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.
Termination by Avilink: We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
9. Featured & Enhanced Listings
Employers opting for Featured or Enhanced listings consent to Avilink promoting their listing via social media and newsletters.
10. Applications & External Links
Job applications are handled externally. The "Apply Now" button will link to an external site or Employer's email.
11. Refunds & Cancellations
No refunds are provided once a listing is paid and published, except in cases of technical faults or duplicate listings at Avilink's discretion.
12. User Conduct
Users must not post misleading, offensive, or illegal content.
Any misuse of the Platform may result in account suspension or termination.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform is owned by Avilink unless stated otherwise.
Users may not copy, distribute, or exploit any part of the Platform without prior written consent.
14. Limitation of Liability
Avilink is not liable for any direct or indirect loss arising from the use of the Platform, including employment outcomes.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by the Employer for the listing.
Avilink is not responsible for hiring outcomes, or accuracy of information submitted by users or employers.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by New Zealand Law. By using the Platform, Users consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
Australian users accept NZ law jurisdiction by using the platform.
16. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Disclaimers
Service Availability: The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Job Opportunities: We do not guarantee job placement or employment opportunities. We are not responsible for hiring decisions made by employers.
Third-Party Content: We are not responsible for content posted by users or third parties on the Service.
